How often should we update our estate plan?

Estate plans should be reviewed and updated after major life events such as marriage, divorce, the birth of a child, significant financial changes, or relocation to another state. Even in the absence of major changes, a review every three to five years is recommended to ensure your plan continues to reflect your current wishes and complies with updated laws.
