Many people approach estate planning as a checkbox on a to-do list. You meet with a lawyer, sign the papers, and put the folder in a drawer. But the most important aspect of a plan isn’t just getting it right—it’s keeping it right. Your estate plan needs maintenance.

The Messy Bedroom Metaphor
